WHAT IS PARTNER 200?
Our goal is that by August 2024, 200 churches and individuals will have pledged to give monthly, partnering with CGN for the sake of the Gospel.
Through the partnership of churches and individuals, we can exponentially increase our ability to equip and resource our network of churches to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and plant churches around the globe.
We can accomplish more together than we can individually.
We fulfill our mission primarily through these four CGN Initiatives.
Proclaiming the Gospel
Expositors Collective fulfills our mission of proclaiming the Gospel by equipping, encouraging, and mentoring the current and next generation of Christ-centered preachers.
Making Disciples
Connect and When She Leads are two CGN initiatives that exist to equip CGN leaders to more effectively make disciples. Connect is a relational initiative that provides coaching, care, and resources so pastors, leaders, and churches within the CGN family can flourish. The When She Leads initiative is a community designed to support women in ministry who serve in various capacities of church leadership.
Planting Churches
Cultivate fulfills our mission to plant Gospel-centered churches through empowering and supporting CGN fellowships and leaders to assess, train, and deploy new church planters.

Q: Why now?
Calvary Chapel has always been a family of churches joined together by relationships and shared theological and philosophical DNA. Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, being the founding church, has historically been the de facto central hub for the movement organizationally and often, financially. The origin of Calvary Global Network was no exception to this reality, being founded by CCCM and fully funded by CCCM for the first several years. As CGN grows and matures, this cannot and should not remain the case.
In August of 2022, CGN became a fully autonomous organization, and in order for CGN to be a growing network serving our global family of churches, lead by a diverse team from around the world, it is essential that our funding comes from the churches and individuals who are invested in our mission of working together to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and plant churches.
CCCM has been incredibly generous, heavily investing in CGN up to this point, but the seed funding that they have committed will be fulfilled in August of 2024, so it is essential that we diversify our funding streams before that time so that we can continue the Great Commission work that we are already doing, and so we can continue to grow and develop our efforts to support, resource and connect the local churches around the globe that make up CGN.
Q: Why this goal?
30 churches or individuals giving $1K/month, 70 at $500/month, and 100 at $250/month equals 200 partners supporting CGN with a total of $1,080,000 per year.
Currently CGN’s operation costs are right around $540,000 per year. We have set our goal for double our current budget so that as the Lord provides, we will be able to not only maintain what we are doing but continue to develop and grow.
Our vision is lofty: training the next generation of Gospel proclaimers and Bible expositors; connecting, caring for, and coaching pastors and leaders around the globe; and planting 1000 new Gospel-centered churches in 10 years. But God is a big God!
Q: How does this benefit you?
There are many ways CGN may be of benefit to you as an individual or local church, but first let us consider how your partnership can benefit others.
Partnering with CGN supports Expositors Collective, which is actively up-skilling current Bible teachers and Gospel preachers as well as raising up the next generation of the same. As you partner, you participate in countless people coming to faith by means of individuals equipped through the Expositors Collective training seminars, podcast, and future resources currently under development. Partnering with CGN supports Connect and When She Leads, both of which are providing the community and support needed for leaders from around CGN to flourish as disciples of Christ. Our belief is that flourishing disciples make flourishing disciples. So, as the pastors, leaders, and ministry workers in CGN are flourishing, their ministry flourishes and those whom they reach and serve flourish. That is a lot of flourishing! Partnering with CGN supports Cultivate, which has created the structure to support CGN churches and church planters to plant 1000 churches in the next 10 years. With a robust assessment process, a global team of mentors and coaches, extensive training resources, and a pipeline for funding and post-church support, Cultivate is the real deal. Beyond these key initiatives, CGN produces and facilitates an immense amount of original content through calvarychapel.com, numerous conferences and gatherings around the globe each year, and CGN Media, which hosts dozens of CGN podcasts and soon will include original music and worship.
Additionally, through our strategic partnership with Western Seminary, we have provided the opportunity for over 200 CGN leaders and future leaders to get a graduate-level education with over 50% discounted tuition.
Last but certainly not least, through our Relief Fund CGN provides practical and spiritual care for CGN leaders and communities around the globe who suffer tragedy or disaster.
